DDP & Last-Mile Delivery Tracking
Shipping DDP to the US or Canada? Once your cargo clears customs, it’s handed to a local carrier — UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, or a regional trucker. Use the tracking number in your delivery notice to follow the final leg door-to-door.

Frequently Asked Questions
What number do I need to track my shipment?
For ocean freight, use the container number (e.g., MSKU1234567), the B/L number, or the booking number — any one of the three works. For FCL shipments, the container number gives the most detailed updates. For LCL, ask us for the Master B/L number. For DDP last-mile delivery, use the local courier tracking number from your delivery notice.
Why can’t I find any tracking information?
The most common reasons:
- Too early: carrier systems typically update 1–3 business days after loading. Try again shortly.
- Wrong leg: DDP shipments switch numbers after customs clearance. Make sure you’re using the ocean B/L before clearance and the courier number after.
- Typos: check letter case, spacing, and that no characters were dropped when copying.
Still nothing? Your shipment may be under customs inspection or affected by a schedule change. Message us and we’ll check with the carrier directly.
How often is tracking information updated?
Ocean tracking updates at each physical milestone — gate-in, loaded on vessel, departure, transshipment, arrival, discharge, and pickup — not in real time. It’s normal to see no movement for days while your container is at sea. Last-mile courier tracking updates at every scan, usually several times a day.
Can I get automatic status notifications?
Yes. Ask your Ever Ocean contact to enable status alerts for your shipment, and we’ll notify you at key milestones — departure, arrival, customs clearance, and out for delivery — by email or WhatsApp.
What should I do if my shipment is delayed?
Contact us as soon as you notice an unusual gap in updates. We’ll confirm the cause with the carrier or port (weather, congestion, inspection, rolled booking) and give you a revised ETA, plus options if the delay affects your sales or Amazon restocking schedule.
